The Deputy Ambassador of Japan to in Uganda His Excellency Tomotaka YOSHIHURA made a tour around the villages where Boreholes were constructed. He was thrived for the testimonies from the Borehole users on how the project has impacted their lives!
The need is still way too big with access to clean and safe water less than 50% in the entire district of Rakai.
Whereas other basics of life including hospitals, schools are still a big challenge for Rakai and Uganda as a whole, the gap for safe and clean water hits harder in Rakai
